About the race
Distances are 106km and 46km Road Races
The Tour de Worcester is back.
Take on the epic 106km road race, or join the 46km fun ride for a classic day in the winelands. Starting in the streets of Worcester, the route heads out along the R60, climbs through the Nuy Valley and Nonna, then drops down the Overhex Road to the R43 before turning and heading home.
This is our current planned route and may change — we’ll confirm the final course and distances soon.
RACE ROUTE – new for 2026
For the first time, we’ll be starting from the beating heart of Worcester’s streets.
500 competitors will be taking on their choice of the full TdW challenge or our half-distance fun ride!

106km Road Race — the full Tour de Worcester.
The classic distance. Starting in the heart of Worcester, the 100km+ rolls out along the R60 before cutting up through the Nuy Valley, over the hills to Nonna and sweeping down the Overhex Road all the way to the R43 — then turning for home and heading back to the finish line.

46km road | ENTRY: R375
The accessible distance. Starting in the heart of Worcester, the 46km follows the early miles of the big race through the Nuy Valley before turning for home — a classic winelands ride that’s big on atmosphere and light on the legs.
This is our current planned route and is subject to change. The distance is confirmed at 46km; final course details will be announced once the route is locked in.

Please note that participants to the road races are required to have CSA membership or can purchase a day license at R70 per person. This is in addition to the prices above.

Start times
Racing will start at with the long route at 7h30 on Sunday. Start times will be staggered to accommodate large groups.
Start groups
Depending on the number of participants, the 106km group might be split into multiple groups; this will be discussed with the riders on the start line.
Registration & Parking
Registration for the race will take place on 4 October starting at 6am. Venue to be announced shortly.

Race numbers and timing tags will be provided and must be collected prior to the race.

About Myriad Events
We currently manage the Western Province Road Cycling league as well as numerous other events, including SA Track Championships and recently, the Western Cape Road and Time Trial Championships.
